Chewshire excels as a lead Pokemon on a Trick Room team, capable of setting up 7 turn long Trick Rooms, enabling other sweepers much more freedom than a standard 5 turn Trick Room. Don't let it's 75, 75, 65 bulk fool you, this Pokemon can survive a surprising amount of things which in some cases allows it the freedom of using Mental Herb over Focus Sash to prevent Taunts from stopping Trick Room. It provides extra utility to its team by burning the opponents, knocking their items off, crippling their set up, or locking them into a move before leaving the field with Misty Explosion or Curse.
