🥪Sandwich (Lures)
Sandwiches and Meal Powers
Sandwiches give you temporary buffs called Meal Powers.
You choose ingredients in the sandwich screen, confirm the price, build the sandwich and then get a sandwich with a set of Meal Powers that last for a short time once eaten. Most Meal Powers target a specific Pokemon type (Fire, Water, etc).
Duration: 10 minutes per sandwich.
Only one sandwich effect set is active at a time.
You cannot eat a new sandwich while your current Meal Powers are active; if you try, you will be told you are already full and should clear your effects first via milk.
Opening the Sandwich Screen
Use the command:
/sandwich.This opens the sandwich builder GUI.
You will see:
A toggle between Fillings and Condiments.
A list of ingredients you can use.
A list of ingredients you have chosen.
A preview sandwich that shows the Meal Powers and the total price.
Ingredient Rules
To make a valid sandwich:
You must have at least:
1 Filling.
1 Condiment.
Maximum totals:
Up to 6 Fillings.
Up to 4 Condiments.
Up to 10 ingredients in total.
Some ingredients count as several pieces. The GUI shows how many pieces are being used.
If you try to add too many, the GUI will refuse and keep you inside the limits.

Using the Builder GUI
1. Switching between Fillings and Condiments
Near the top of the GUI you can switch the ingredient list:
Click the Fillings button to see all fillings.
Click the Condiments button to see all condiments.
Only one list is shown at a time.
2. Choosing Ingredients
In the main section:
Left click an ingredient to add it to your sandwich.
The selected ingredients appear in the lower area of the GUI.
The builder automatically enforces:
Filling limit.
Condiment limit.
Total ingredient limit.
In the selected list:
Left click an ingredient to remove it.
3. Previewing the Sandwich
On the right side there is a sandwich icon that shows the preview.
Hover over it to see:
The Meal Powers you will get
For each line:
Power name (for example EXP, CATCH, SPARKLING).
Pokémon type (for example FIRE, WATER, DRAGON).
Level (1, 2, or 3).
The full price you will pay.
Example line:
EXP | FIRE | Lvl. 2This means: extra experience when you defeat Fire type Pokémon in battle, at level 2 strength. It does not matter what type your own Pokémon is. What matters is the type of the Pokémon you defeat.
If you are happy with the preview, click the sandwich icon to confirm.
4. Scarlet and Violet System
The builder system is identical to the one used in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, as such calculators that exist for that game will also work for our server.
Keep in mind, some creative sandwiches require you to drop a certain amount of ingredients, and be sure to take note of the "pieces" vs. the actual number of ingredients. For example, picking 1x Jalapeño as your ingredient will result in 3x Jalapeño pieces, each of which you will need to successfully place in the Placement GUI. You can deliberately drop pieces by placing them into the Discard pile once on the Placement Screen.
Random Sandwich
If the random button is available:
Clicking it will try to build a random valid sandwich for you.
If no valid random combination is found, it will tell you and do nothing.
This is mostly for fun or for testing new combinations quickly.
Prices
The price is calculated from several parts.
Base price:
Every sandwich starts at $10,000 PokeDollars.
Per ingredient:
Each Filling adds $1,000 PokeDollars.
Each Condiment adds $1,000 PokeDollars.
Sparkling extra fee:
If the sandwich gives any Sparkling power, an extra fee is added based on the highest Sparkling level:
Sparkling Level 1: +$2,000.
Sparkling Level 2: +$4,000.
Sparkling Level 3: +$8,000.
Herba Mystica pieces:
The following ingredients are treated as special:
Sweet Herba Mystica
Salty Herba Mystica
Sour Herba Mystica
Bitter Herba Mystica
Spicy Herba Mystica
The first Herba piece adds $1,000 PokeDollars.
Each extra Herba piece doubles its own surcharge, up to $8,000 per piece.
The preview always shows the exact price before you confirm. Once you confirm, you will pay the amount indicated, regardless of the outcome. (Even if you decide to Cancel whilst on the Placement Screen).
Placement Screen
After you confirm and pay, you go to a placement screen:
You get a simple grid where you place the ingredient pieces in columns.
Pieces stack on top of each other and can sometimes fall off.
The system checks how many pieces you managed to keep on the sandwich.
You can deliberately drop some ingredients by placing them into the discard pile.
For example, if your Sandwich recipe requires 1 Jalapeño but each Jalapeño comes with 3 pieces, you will need to deliberately drop 2 pieces.
If too many key pieces fall off, the final Meal Powers can end up weaker or different compared to the preview.
Tips:
Keep your stack short and stable.
Avoid very tall towers that are likely to drop pieces.
If you want to match the preview as closely as possible, focus on a compact, balanced layout.
Hovering over the Drop section will outline the chance for the ingredient to fail to place.
When you are happy, you finish the placement and you are given the Sandwich with the Meal Powers based on the result.
Duration and Clearing Effects
Every sandwich lasts 10 minutes.
While the timer is running, the Meal Powers are active.
You cannot eat another sandwich while effects from a previous one are still active If you try, you will get a message that you are already full.
Clearing effects early:
Drink a bucket of milk to clear your current sandwich effects before trying to eat another.
Checking Active Effects
/sandwich effectsShows your current Meal Powers and how long they will last. Hovering over the effects will outline what they do and the values they are buffed by.
Meal Powers Overview
Most powers are type based. That means they only apply to Pokémon that match the type shown in the tooltip line for that power.
Example:
CATCH | WATER | Lvl. 2Catching Water type Pokémon is easier while this is active.
One power does not care about type:
Egg (
/daycare, not Pasture Breeding) works globally and affects egg progress instead of a specific Pokémon type.
Below is a simple table for what each power does:

Notes:
Type based powers only affect the type written on their line.
EXP uses the type of the Pokémon you defeat in battle, not the type of the Pokémon in your party.
Egg power is global and does not target a specific type.
Raid exists as a Meal Power name, but it is not yet implemented and currently does nothing.
