Rain Setter

Ability: Drizzle\
Calm Nature\
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpDef\

\- Toxic Spikes\
\- Roost\
\- Flip Turn

Puffoon leverages its amazing natural bulk to set Rain up and set up Toxic Spikes for the rest of the team. It has amazing survivability due to it's high natural HP stat and defense stats that enable it to survive even a Thunderbolt from pokemon such as Iron Valiant with Booster Energy Speed. Using this bulk and survivability, it can set up Toxic Spikes to enable team mates who might have Hex, or just chip away at walls. Haze allows it extra utility to its team in preventing enemy set up such as against Volcarona or Kingambit. Weather Ball can be used to chip away at the opponent and Flip Turn can be leveraged for scouting out faster pivots or hard switches and be used to bring in team mates such as Mega Swampert or Ferrothorn.

Puffoon also leverages its extremely high special bulk to switch in on Mega Charizard Y and return Rain to the field, before Flip Turning out, or Roosting off the meagre damage that Mega Charizard Y might have done with Weather Ball or Air Slash.

### Team Options

### Weaknesses

Puffoon doesn't get checked by very much, but Stealth Rock can annoy it, and force Roosts, leaving it vulnerable to Pokemon such as Zapdos, Tapu Koko, or Raging Bolt switching in who can all 1hko it with something and are the banes of rain teams who don't possess Mega Swampert.

Puffoon also suffers to 4 move slot syndrome where it has very little variation in the sets that it runs, causing it to be rather 1 dimensional.

And it faces competition in Pelipper who has much more set variety, is more physically bulky, and can use Defog to help its team with hazards if needed.
