Fimbulven @ Life Orb / Heavy Duty Boots Ability: Snow Warning Timid Nature / Modest Nature 252 SpA / 24 SpD / 232 Spe - Blizzard - Heatwave - Dark Pulse - Nasty Plot

Fimbulven can leverage its above average base Special Attack stat to dish out serious damage with it's strong, 100% accurate Blizzards in Snow that it sets for itself. It utilizes Nasty Plot to boost it's breaking power, allowing it to limit switch ins. It can use Heatwave to take care of some of the Steel types in the tier, while also utilizing Dark Pulse to allow it, at +2, to ohko SubToxic Aegislash 75% of the time. 232 Speed EVs allow it to speed creep Pecharunt and ohko with Dark Pulse at +2. And that isn't even mentioning the amount of pressure that Life Orb can bring to the table, which allows it to 2hko even some of the bulkiest Pokemon in the tier with Blizzard, like Celesteela. And with it's high natural HP, very few Pokemon in UU can ohko Fimbulven, only Pokemon like Enamorus or Banded Lokix can manage the ohko.

Team Options

Weaknesses

When Fimbulven doesn't run Heavy Duty Boots, it's ability to switch in is severally limited due to hazards like Spikes and Stealth Rocks. It can only come in so many times before it just dies. And it is rather hard to find an opportunity to Nasty Plot in the tier with some of it's offensive threats, and without a Nasty Plot, it is very hard to find some ohkos on Pokemon that Fimbulven would like to check like Aegislash or Pecharunt. There is also the fact that Fimbulven is outsped by much of the tier, and falls at even the slightest hint of a Fighting type move. There is also the matter that Fimbulven gets walled out by a few Pokemon in the tier. Pokemon like Keldeo, Azumarill, or Rotom Wash, and while Azumarill isn't super wide spread, Keldeo and Rotom Wash are pretty good in the tier so it wouldn't be uncommon to see one of the two on a team.

In Doubles, Fimbulven mostly just suffers when going against opposing Trick Room teams where it can't leverage Tailwind effectively. And when Trick Room goes up, it essentially becomes a useless non factor. Other than that, Fimbulven is generally a very solid Pokemon and doesn't really face a lot of huge checks in Doubles due to it's great versatility with Tailwind. Other than Snatch, watch out for opposing Snatch users who might try to steal Tailwind from you.
