# Drop Party

A Drop Party is a free-for-all item rain. Items fall from the ceiling of the arena for one minute, and whatever you pick up is yours to keep.

There's no entry cost, nothing to qualify for, and no way to come out behind. Everyone who turns up leaves with something.

> Drop Parties aren't scheduled. There's no fixed time and no countdown to watch — one gets started, and the announcement in chat is your only notice.

#### Getting There

When a Drop Party begins you'll see this in chat:

```
DROP PARTY
A shower of prizes starts in 30s!
Get there with /warp dropparty
```

Thirty seconds is not long. Run `/warp dropparty` straight away rather than finishing what you were doing — it drops you directly inside the arena.

**Do not turn up with a full inventory.** If you have no free slots you physically cannot pick items up, and you'll spend the whole minute watching everyone else collect. Clear space *before* you warp in — you can't drop items inside the arena to make room once the event has started.

#### How It Works

Items fall for 60 seconds once the countdown ends.

They come down in a steady stream rather than one large dump, and they land across the whole room. There's no advantage to crowding the middle or racing the first wave — drops keep arriving for the full minute, and the edges get the same treatment as the centre.

Around 360 items fall per event, drawn at random from a pool of 69 different rewards.

#### Item Caps

Every item has a per-player cap. Once you've collected your limit of something, further copies won't be picked up by you — they stay on the floor for someone else to find.

This is deliberate. It stops one quick player clearing the room, and it means turning up partway through is still worth doing, because the items you'd have taken are still lying there waiting.

#### What Drops

| Tier      | Examples                                                                                           |

| Uncommon | Great, Ultra, Quick and Dusk Balls, Potions, small Exp. Candy, iron, gold, emeralds, golden apples |
| Rare | Rare Candy, Revives, Hyper Potions, Luxury, Level, Moon, Fast and Heavy Balls, diamonds, vitamins |
| Very rare | Evolution stones, Exp. Candy XL, Relic Coin Sacks, Loaded Dice, Focus Band, Big Root, herbs |

#### Arena Rules

Several things are switched off inside the arena so that nobody can gain an advantage.

Movement is on foot only — no flying, elytra, mounts, boats or minecarts, and no ender pearls or chorus fruit. Pokémon can't be sent out, and there's no battling or catching of any kind while the event runs.

You also can't drop items, so nothing you already own can be lost or handed off in the scramble.

**Commands do not work inside the arena.** `/spawn`, `/home`, `/tpa` and `/warp` are all blocked for the duration, so you can't leave partway through and you can't warp back in if you step out. Don't plan on using a command to fix anything mid-event.

Every restriction lifts automatically the moment the event ends, and you're free to leave normally.

#### Commands

**`/warp dropparty`**

Puts you inside the Drop Party arena. Run it as soon as a Drop Party is announced — you need to be inside before the drops start.

This is the only command you need, and the only one that will work — once you're inside and the event is running, commands are blocked until it ends.

#### Tips

* Spread out. Items land across the whole room and the middle isn't better than the edges.
* Empty your inventory before you warp in. A full inventory means you collect nothing, and you can't drop items inside to make room.
* Keep moving once you've capped the common items — the rarer ones are still landing.
* Arriving late is still worth it. The caps make sure there's something left.
* A minimum of 2 players is needed for a Drop Party to run.
