🐘Safari Zone

The Safari Zone is a special timed hunting ground where the catching rules are different from the rest of the server. Here’s everything you need to know as a player.

Entering the zone

  1. Find the Safari NPC at /warp Safari (named Safari Jones)

  2. A confirmation menu opens showing the cost, the time limit, and how many Safari Balls you’ll receive.

  3. Click ✓ ENTER to pay and go in, or ✗ CANCEL to back out at no charge.

There’s no /safari join command. The Safari NPC is the only way in — entering the dimension any other way is blocked.

You’ll need at least one free inventory slot for the balls. If your inventory is full, you’ll be told to make room and try again.

While you’re hunting

  • A boss bar at the top of your screen shows how much time you have left.

  • Only Safari Balls work in here. Any other Poké Ball is blocked — you’ll get a message reminding you.

  • The Safari Zone Balls that are given to you are more effective inside the zone, and wild Pokémon have a boosted shiny rate, so it’s a good place to go hunting. (Outside Safari Balls will not work)

  • You keep everything you brought in, but unused Safari Balls are removed when you leave.

  • If you run out of the first 35, you can talk to Safari Jones in the main building of Safari Zone to purchase another 10 Safari Zone Balls for 5,000 PokeDollars. You can only puchase extras up to 3 times

Leaving the zone

You can leave in a few ways:

  • Run out of time. When the timer hits zero, you’re automatically sent back out.

  • Leave manually. Run /safari leave at any point to end your session early.

  • Log out. By default, if you disconnect your session is saved and resumed where you left off the next time you log in — the clock keeps ticking while you’re away. (An admin can switch this off so a logout ends the session instead.)

When you leave, you’re returned to the server’s configured exit location with your inventory intact.
