# Fusions

Fusions allow players to combine compatible Pokémon together to create a new Pokémon.

Fusion recipes determine which Pokémon can be combined and what Pokémon they create. Recipes can require **two or three Pokémon**.

Fusing is **permanent**. Once a fusion is confirmed, the Pokémon used in the fusions are consumed and cannot be recovered.

#### Fusion Recipes

Each fusion is based on a predefined **Fusion Recipe**.

A recipe determines which Pokémon are required and which Pokémon will be created.

Not every combination of Pokémon can be fused. Your selected Pokémon must match an available fusion recipe.

Use `/fusions list` to view all available fusion recipes, or view them on the wiki here: [Fusions](/pokemon/fusions.md)

#### How Fusions work

1. Go to the **Fusion Chamber**
2. Start a fusion
3. Select an eligible Pokémon from your party
4. Select the remaining Pokémon needed for a valid recipe
5. Review the fusion result
6. Confirm the fusion
7. The selected Pokémon are consumed
8. Receive your newly created Pokémon

As Pokémon are selected, the available choices are filtered so that only valid fusion combinations can be completed.

#### Two and Three Pokémon Fusions

Fusion recipes can use either **two or three Pokémon**.

Some Pokémon may be part of multiple recipes. If your current selections can lead to more than one valid fusion, the Fusion Chamber will let you choose how you want to complete it.

The exact Pokémon required depends on the recipe.

#### Fusion Results

The Pokémon created by a fusion is determined by its recipe, while several of its properties are generated from the Pokémon used to create it.

* **Level:** Fusion Pokémon are created at **Level 1**
* **Nature:** The resulting Pokémon receives a random nature
* **Poké Ball:** One of the parents' Poké Balls is randomly inherited
* **IVs:** All six IVs are inherited from the parents
  * Two-Pokémon fusions inherit **3 IVs from each parent**
  * Three-Pokémon fusions inherit **2 IVs from each parent**
  * Which individual stats are inherited from each parent is random
* **Shiny:** Each shiny parent contributes a **50% shiny chance**
  * 1 shiny parent gives a **50% chance**
  * 2 or more shiny parents guarantee the fusion will be shiny
  * With no shiny parents, the normal shiny rules apply
* **Hidden Ability:** Parents with their Hidden Ability increase the chance that the fusion receives its own Hidden Ability
  * The more parents using their Hidden Ability, the greater the chance
  * The maximum Hidden Ability chance is **50%**
  * The resulting species must have a Hidden Ability for this to apply

The resulting Pokémon also receives an appropriate moveset for its species.

#### Fusion Chamber

Fusions are performed using the **Fusion Chamber** at `/warp lab`.

Only one fusion session can be active at once. If another player is already using it, you will need to wait until their session is finished.

You cannot begin a fusion while occupied with certain other activities, such as battling or trading.

There is no cooldown between fusions

#### Receiving Your Fusion

After a successful fusion, the newly created Pokémon is added to your party.

Fusion Pokémon are also registered in your **Pokédex**.

If the resulting Pokémon cannot be delivered immediately, it is stored safely for recovery rather than being lost.
